Policy
No returns will be allowed without the original receipt and all original packaging, drivers, documents, etc.
All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and Manager approval.
Refunds will be given only up to 10 business days past the date of original purchase.
Cash refunds for check payments will only be made upon verification of check clearance.
Cash refunds greater than $100 are subject to Cash availability, Manager approval and may be made by check.
Refunds are only honored in the same tender type as the original transaction. All electronic transaction refunds (Credit or Debit) must be run as Credit, per Merchant Services.
Only Store Credit or exchanges will be allowed on products from the 11th to the 30th business days past original purchase date.
No Returns will be accepted on: Software, CPUs, Full Computer Systems (including Laptop/Notebook Computers), Printers, Cable Modems, Cases, or Open CD/DVD/Tape Media.
No refunds on Laptops, exchanges will be made ONLY if Laptop is DOA (no exchanges after the first 10 days)
No refunds on any tools, only exchange and/or in-store credit.
No refunds or credit will be given for labor charges. All labor charges are non-refundable.
NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS OF ANY KIND WILL BE MADE AFTER 30 DAYS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE.
Warranty Policy
Original receipt is required for all warranty issues as it is the only proof of purchase accepted at SWS.
No physically damaged materials will be accepted for return.
All OEM & Retail CPU’s have NO SWS Warranty.
All Intel & AMD Retail Boxed CPU’s have a Warranty directly through the manufacturer.
SWS will provide a 30day warranty on OEM & Retail CPU’s if installed by a SWS technician.
All Memory has a 1-Year SWS warranty - see manufacturer for lifetime warranty (all stickers must be intact and on the memory).
Laptop warranties are through the manufacturer only.
1-Year Warranty on all other parts unless otherwise stated. Original Labor carries a 90-Day Warranty only.
All printers have NO Warranty through SWS. Customer will need to send item direct to manufacturer.
Surplus & Used Item Policy
All surplus & used items are sold as-is and there are no guarantees, warranties, exchanges or returns on these items. All sales are final.
Parts Test Policy
SWS is willing to test computer parts for the following prices:
$10=CPU, RAM, Power Supply, Video Card, CD or DVD-ROM $15=Hard Drive, Scanner, Printer, Most PCI Cards
Some parts we cannot test. Please inquire at our service center if the item you would like tested is not on this list.
Special Order Policy
In the circumstance that SWS places a Special order (any non-stocked item), SWS requires 100% pre-payment in full. If merchandise is not picked up within 90 days of customer notification, the customer forfeits all rights to the product and payment. No returns on special orders.
Service Policy
We have a $50 minimum per service, which covers the 1st hour of work. It is $50 per hour fee after diagnostics.
The service center is open Monday through Friday. Please check for current turnaround time, which can vary.
Technical Service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rush Service is available at $100 per hour, with a $100 minimum and is subject to Manager approval.
Warranty Service is provided immediately and typically requires 24-48 business hours for completion.
Onsite service is by appointment only and is billed a minimum of 1 hour for $75 per hour and may incur a trip fee of up to $60.
Onsite service has a 90-Day Warranty & is provided at our Technical Service Center, not Onsite.

There are no refunds or credit for labor.
Compatibility Policy
SWS will not guarantee the compatibility of
any components unless installed by a SWS technician.
Pickup Policy
Any Special-Order parts or payments will be forfeited 90 days past customer notification if not picked up.
Any items put in Will-Call will be restocked after 24 hours unless prior exception has been made.
Any item checked in for Technical Service that remains unclaimed 30 days past customer notification becomes the property of SWS unless prior exception has been made.
